Maped is a French family-owned stationery brand founded in 1947 in Annecy, now led by the Lacroix family. It designs and manufactures school, writing and office supplies — from compasses and scissors to erasers, pencil sharpeners, pens and craft kits — under its Maped, Maped Office, Maped Creativ, Joustra, Helit and Helix brands. All product design is done in-house at the French headquarters, while roughly 60% of production runs through three integrated sites in France, China and Mexico, with the remainder contracted closer to markets. The group employs around 1,800 people and sells in more than 120 countries through 17 subsidiaries.
