Rhodia is a French stationery brand best known for its iconic orange notepad, founded in 1923 by the Vérilhac brothers in Lyon. Since 1997 it has belonged to the Exacompta Clairefontaine group, which is controlled by the Nusse family. The brand's notebooks, notepads, diaries and writing instruments are designed and produced in France, in the group's factory near Mulhouse, using PEFC-certified paper, vegetable-based inks and vegetable glue.
