KREUL is a German brand of liquid paints for artists, creatives and children, made by the family-owned C.Kreul GmbH & Co. KG in Hallerndorf, Bavaria. Founded in 1838 by painter Carl Kreul as Germany's first artist paint factory, it is now run in the fourth generation by the Hawranek family. The company develops and produces its full range — from finger paints and acrylics to glass, silk and DIY colours — at its single Hallerndorf site, where an in-house lab handles recipe development and more than five million containers are filled each year.
