Hama is a German consumer electronics accessories company founded in 1923 in Dresden and rebuilt in Monheim, Bavaria, after World War II. The family-controlled firm, now owned by the Thomas and Hanke family foundations, designs and distributes roughly 18,000 products spanning photo, audio, computer, smart home, wearables and household categories. With around 2,500 employees worldwide and a large engineering and logistics base in Monheim, Hama develops its products in Germany while much of the physical production is outsourced to contract manufacturers in Southeast Asia and China.
