dm-folien is a German family-run packaging materials company based in Reutlingen, founded in 1987 by Dieter Mühlinghaus and still controlled by the Mühlinghaus family together with long-serving employee shareholders. The company supplies more than 3,000 packaging products — films, PE bags, nets, sacks, stretch film, paper goods, cartons and ropes — to trade, industry, agriculture and retail customers across Germany and abroad. It operates its own in-house production in Reutlingen with 17 machines for PE bags, cut pieces, air-cushion film, PE foam and printed raschel sacks, while also importing thousands of special orders from Eastern Europe and Asia. The company is certified to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 and has completed a corporate carbon footprint assessment as part of its sustainability.
