Bahlsen is a German family-owned biscuit and bakery company founded in 1889 by Hermann Bahlsen and headquartered in Hannover. It produces a wide range of cookies, waffles, cakes and seasonal winter confectionery under the Bahlsen, Leibniz and Pickup brands. The company is controlled by the Bahlsen family and develops its products from its Hannover headquarters. Manufacturing takes place at plants in Germany (Barsinghausen, Varel and Berlin) and in Poland (Skawina and Jawornik).
